Winter
Winter is the season
That changes us the most
It cranks down the temperature to a freezing cold crisp
It drops fluffy snowflakes that sometime cancel school
It frolics in the mountains and paints them perfectly white
It changes my wardrobe, from short to pant
It removes the ice from my coffee, adding a warm steam
It turns the car temperature knob from blue to red
It calls for snow tires and 4 wheel drive
It attracts skis and boards awaiting for their season to start
It causes pale skin and cold limbs
It signifies the holiday season followed by long months of hibernation
It endures the horrific months of school
It is the darkest of the seasons
It is not meant for the weak
The strongest will survive the winter, but they are unrecognizable in the end
